Great monitor if you're looking for 144hz and 1440p!
I am very happy with this monitor. I use it for 1400p gaming at 144hz. Make sure you search for how to turn on freesync on Nvidia cards via Google. It's a very simply process and 144hz with Freesync was enabled on my monitor but NOT automatically enabled on my RTX2080. Once you enable Freesync, it works great
with your monitor and all games look great.
I also use this for my PS4 Pro and XBox One X.. All of them look amazing.
No dead pixels for me.. Would absolutely buy again.

Edit (8/18/19): .Update your motherboard bios especially if using new graphics cards like RTX series and new radeon RX series cards. I had an issue with old board bios that resulted in improper resolution output on new RTX cards causing blurriness in games. This monitor at 32 inches requires a powerful processor to transition the screen pixels and graphics card to see it at its best. I recently upgraded my motherboard to an MSI gaming plus and also got an intel I7 9700k with my RTX 2080. This monitor is now fully functional , textures in games are crisp and sharp, there is absolutely no more image/texture blur at this screen size. I cant explain how it happened but it seems the screen pixels are able to transition faster with this new hardware. I was using an i7 8700 non K version which i thought was powerful but with the new processsor i am hitting 144Fps consistently now and it shows with how clear the games look . don't get me wrong they looked good before but they totally look amazing now. If you can afford it get an i7 processor preferably a 9700k or 8700k.
Also if you install the latest GeForce drivers version 436.02. u should try out the new texture sharpening tool. It is simply amazing. To use it u need to have GeForce experience installed, during gameplay press Alt +F3, on the overlay click one of the numbers either 1,2, or 3. Select the game filter command, and scroll down until u see sharpening, move the slider to adjust the sharpness and enjoy the visuals.

Make sure to reinstall your graphics drivers after you hook this monitor up to your PC for the first time, Nvidia gives you the option to do a custom installation with a clean installation ,which will help to resolve any leftover conflicts with your previous monitor. Also, use the displayport cable that came with the monitor, I noticed that images in games were sharper compared to when I used any third party cable. I don't know if it just placebo but I tried using 4 other dp cables and the images were not as good in my opinion compared with the one added in the box.Okay on to the review,I took the plunge and bought this monitor. Its a 32 inch curved monitor and it is much larger than I thought it was going to be. if you have a small desk u might want to think of getting a larger one. I hooked it up to my pc using an RTX 2080 and it looked good but not great in gaming. I knew something was definitely off. I tried all kinds of configurations for 4 days but nothing worked until I played with the picture boost menu which I finally understood what it does. The picture boost option applies an extra virtual film over the screen which allows u to tweak the brightness and contrast more than in the luminance option. Just go into the menu under Picture boost and enable Bright frame to On , after that increase the frame size all the up to 100. My brightness setting in picture boost is 34 and contrast is 50.Adjust to ur own desire but I notice lower brightness improves in game shadows. I did notice if I used any of the present game modes (Hint: leave Game mode off) under game setting option, it would shut off Picture boost and I would have to enable it again and redo the entire process. I wish we could save our settings presets files in the monitor.

Once I setup this config, I can now fully say that this monitor is a must buy and I am now totally loving it. playing games on it has been very immersive and u just cant go wrong with this product. Once properly configured this monitor is amazing.

Edit: I just want to add that this AOC monitor is G sync compatible. I previously used a Dell S2417DG TN panel G sync monitor, I can say that I am having a much smoother and consistent performance with this AOC freesync monitor in G sync mode. The problem which nobody wants to address is that G sync on native Gsync monitors is broken on Windows 10 since last years Windows March update, the micro stuttering on the Dell monitor with Gsync was driving me crazy. I am having a much better experience now with adaptive sync on this monitor. Games like Far cry 4 and 5 are much smoother. I don't think this monitor will ever get official Gsync compatible certification due to the freesync range of 48 - 144hz. Nvidia will only certify monitors that are 30- 144hz. Even with that , i don't get below 48 fps unless the game is broken like Gears of War ultimate edition. All my games are running fantastic and smooth , u will probably need a minimum of gtx 1070/gtx 1660 ti or Vega 56/Rx 580/590 to fully enjoy this monitor. In freesync mode , the monitor automatically caps ur max fps at 144, u can't go higher even on powerful Gpu.It helps to ensure you have a consistent experience while game, native Gsync doesn't do this and u need to cap it yourself manually. Once again, no regrets with this monitor and it is worth the money.

Good monitor - Updated Review
I am updating my review. Most of the negative comments about this monitor can be easily addressed with a return on a DOA/mfg defect/dead pixel, buying the extended warranty ( really cheap through Amazon) or simply by reading the little booklet called THE MANUAL (144hz through display port for example). Moving on; otherwise good picture out of the box, great picture once calibrated. I use X-rites' i1 Display Pro with open source software called DisplayCAL ((free) does better then x-rites software IMHO). A screen not calibrated is like a sports car without a tune. Black levels are superior to IPS by a mile (not like OLED but very good otherwise). Coming from an IPS monitor to VA...colors are more vibrant and blacks are darker. 144hz is icing on the cake.

Amazing Gaming Monitor for Price
Beautiful design, love the curve, thin bezel is really nice too, and 144hz refresh is good and has low input lag. The picture quality is pretty good for the price too. I mainly play Fortnite and this monitor has greatly improved my gameplay with peaking, reactions, etc. I would suggest this gaming monitor to anyone.

A nice budget 144 hz monitor
I was searching a new monitor that has 144 hz and a big screen like 32 inch. If you looking for 32 you dont have too many option if you dont want to pay high prices. So i saw this new aoc c32g1 and price was okay for a brand new monitor. This one is really came out lately and you cant see a proper review. So i hope this will help you.
İt came with a huge box thanks to its curve, i set up and look for a dead pixels, it has none. The monitor is too big that i couldnt guess so it stands big on my table. İt has vesa so i can mount the wall later. Curve level is well adjusted and its not disturb when you look far, and when you are playing games it feels nice. No commend for 144hz, if you used to 60 hz before, you definetly will notice the speed. You need to do some adjustment for color qualify, because it comes bad color setting out of box. One thing i tought it has a pivot feature like c24g1 or c27g1 but its not, you can just tilt the monitor and its a dissapointing for me. Another thing is using windows on 32 inch 1080p, well.. very bad. You need some time for get used to. Overall the price what you get is very well i like it a lot, thanks to amazon they help me to receive it nice as always.

No built in speakers but amazing picture and product
I love this monitor its my first pc gaming monitor and its perfect its stunning only issue is it didnt say that it has no built in speakers and i dont have any but for 300$ i was hoping it had some so now i have to buy speakers too

AOC 24G2 24" 1080p 144hz great initial impression
picture shows size comparison next to a 27" monitor

This is my first time purchasing an AOC product. If the quality of this monitor reflects the quality of AOC products, then I am looking forward to purchasing more AOC products.

Obviously, my time with this monitor is short, I just received it a few days ago. But the stand is great compared to many monitors that cost 2x this much. It's very versatile and very sturdy. I'm a leg shaker and this monitor's stand does a good job of countering the wobble.

I have been using an MSI VA panel as my main monitor so I've become used to dark blacks and this monitor, imo, has just as good of blacks as my VA. I'm very pleased with how good the contrast is. I have 0 dead pixels, 0 backlight bleed, and I cannot see any of that IPS glow. I'm actually pretty amazed. I REALLY hope nothing goes wrong with this monitor. Again, I've never used AOC products before. I don't know what their longevity and reliability is.

If you're sticking with 1080p and want 144hz IPS @ 24".. I would say buy this. There is a 27" version, and I wouldn't get a 1080p at 27" but that's only because my desk is not very deep. If I were to be sitting further away from the monitor, 27" wouldn't be so bad and I might have considered it. Especially since I could watch stuff from my bed easier with the larger screen.

Personally I've always thought poorly of acer and asus when it comes to monitors.. I always read and see how poor their QC is. The main reason I've never purchased their monitors in the recent years. I've never had any monitors (that I've owned) actually break on me. I've owned Dell, LG, and MSI. My parents had an acer and it was just trash. It broke within a year. They also had a samsung. It also broke within a year. Granted.. they were cheaper end models and they have no idea what they're buying when they're at "best buy."

For 165$ I would recommend this panel to everyone I know. Amazing value for the specs.

NOTE: I did have to manually change it to 144hz in my gpu's control panel. Out of the box it was 60hz. I have overdrive set to strong.

Fantastic monitor for the price
This is my first >60Hz monitor, and I'm loving it so far. For reference, I'm coming to this from a $600 34" LG 3440x1440 Ultrawide IPS display.

The colors were noticeably worse than my LG out of the box, but after quite a bit of tweaking color, brightness, and contrast settings, I've gotten the color on my AOC to look almost as good in that department.

The main advantage of VA panels like this is the excellent contrast ratio. As long as you've got your settings dialed in correctly, this panel gives you VERY deep blacks (not OLED-level, but still very good). So, even though the color performance isn't quite as good as my LG, the AOC still looks better to my eyes.

The other big advantage of VA panels is that they have virtually no back-light bleed or glow, like IPS panels tend to suffer from. My LG had light bleed in every single corner, which was very distracting when watching/playing something dark. This monitor is nice and uniform across the entire screen.

So far I've only tried Doom 2016 with this monitor, but even so, I can unequivocally that the 144Hz refresh rate is a COMPLETE GAME-CHANGER. When I first booted up the game, I thought "yeah, it's smoother, I guess." But then, after playing for a little while, I set the monitor's refresh rate to 60, and it was almost painful going back.

Fortunately, the monitor is compatible with g-sync, even though it's not advertised as such. However, I did have to reinstall my Nvidia drivers in order to get it working, since the G-sync option initially wasn't appearing for me in the control panel. Not a big deal, but just something to be aware of.

For the price, this panel is unbeatable. I'm extremely satisfied with it so far.

Great performance, Build quality and image quality (after calibration)
Coming from an IPS display, i was a bit worried reading the review about color accuracy and image looking washed out and its True! Out the box. I thought about returning it, viewing angle was not great, color was off seem washed out as everyone mentioned, but after doing some research and missing with settings, i can say i am impressed. Colors pop and some how seems more vibrant and deep than my replacement IPS monitor. Viewing angle still not like IPS but who use the monitor at an angle? For the price and after calibration this monitor is absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectation. Also i get no flickering or any other anomaly mention about VA panel. Build quality and stand adjust great as well. Would recommend this to anyone who’s skeptic. I know i was at first.

Needs some tweaking, but looks great!
I have had the monitor for about a day as of this review, but I played a handful of games for about 6 hours total to get a good sample. Here are my thoughts:

- Going from a flat to a curved monitor... yes its VERY noticeable at first. But after getting it centered perfectly and playing for about 15-20 minutes, the curve was no longer noticeable.

- The default picture settings are bad, and the "gamer" modes are even worse (especially for gaming!). If you have the patience to spent about 20 minutes tweaking the many settings, you will find the perfect arrangement.

- No dead pixels, no immediately obvious defects. Other reviews seem to be hit or miss here, so your mileage may vary.

- No USB connections, but makes it for it with an excellent slim picture frame.

- Refresh rate goes up to 144hz, resolution to 1440p upscaled.

- Motion blur in Destiny 2 seems to be amplified, not sure if this is due to a slower monitor response time or the curved form of the monitor. Disabling motion blur in the game settings fixed this issue.

- Despite the awkward talon-shape of the monitor stand, it actually sticks out less than my previous AOC monitor did with a circular base.

- DARKS ARE VERY DARK. There are some areas in Destiny 2 that were simply dim before on my previous AOC monitor, and now they are absolutely pitch black. This is not a brightness issue, but likely the difference between LED and LCD panels.

- WHITES ARE VERY BRIGHT. The startup screen of Destiny 2 is almost torture because of how bright it gets. I turned down some of the gamma settings which helped a bit. I admit I tried to turn up the brightness to help see in the dark areas (that's now how it works) and suffered greatly for this.

- Overall, I would say the display looks fantastic. My previous monitor was 1080p, and my TV is 4K, so I wasn't really sure how a 2K display would compare. It's noticeably better than 1080p, and noticeably cheaper than a 4K screen, so what's not to love?

I hate buying new monitors because of how it feels like you are always making a trade-off somewhere unless you pay premium. But so far, I have zero complaints aside from the initial tweaking required. I will update this review if my opinion changes.
