Great Monitor
This monitor was simple to setup - the instructions are easy to follow. The monitor can be physically adjusted easily for your specific viewing preferences. The monitor I purchased did not have built-in speakers so I had to buy a set of external speakers - no problem though. The resolution, clarity, brightness and color depth are amazing. And the monitor has several available ports (i.e. HDMI, USB, audio out) making setup a lot easier. I've been using this monitor in non-gaming applications and am very pleased with the results.
Stunningly beautiful display!
Beautiful display, crisp and clear text, excellent and smooth gaming.
A huge upgrade from my 28" Samsung G70B, I didn't think I'd see any difference between hdr400 to
hdr 600, I was wrong. The bright lights are amazingly stong, the colors pop out, this monitor is worth
it's weight x10. The black levels are consistant, no ghosting or smudging, night looks like night.
No bad edge or back bleed, no dead pixels on arrival.
I was wavering between this and an OLED, but given the early issues with pixel shifting, dimming and burn-in, I didn't want to take any chances, this Dell monitor is a gem, have no worries, you'll love it!
Nice for a VA Panel. No Speakers. Auto input switching is helpful
I use this for work and although I have the IPS version of this same monitor, I needed one while traveling and got this less expensive (gaming) edition. Note Im never going to play a game on this. Its not as sharp as the more expensive IPS panel but its very good once you get used gto the curve which is a little more aggressive than the IPS model I have. Since its cheaper you dont get speakers either. I like that if I put one computer to sleep on the HDML input that it will switch to a computer on another input if its awake. This is mostly smooth switching between a mac and PC. I rarely but sometimes do have to manually switch the input. One reason I like these DELLs as opposed to some other manufacturers is that they seem to wake up a bit sooner when connected to a mac than other brands. And the 34 inch curved form factor is something I will never leave. I hate dual monitors.
