I am not a gamer, I just purchased this monitor for work because I wanted a large monitor. I got the 27 inch, 100hz model. It’s great for work. I actually got a Sceptre TV on Black Friday literally like 12 years ago and it is still working perfectly, so I really trust the brand. Plus the price was better than any other 27 inch HD monitor I could find. My son asked if he could use it as a TV, so we plugged in the Apple TV 4K. We were blown away by the picture quality. It’s more clear than our 65 inch 4K LG TV. I don’t know how much of that is the Apple TV to be fair. But I can tell you that the picture quality is fantastic. As far as using it as a TV, I do you have to admit that the speakers are really bad for that. But we just plug it into our Bluetooth speaker and don’t know the difference. I really recommend this monitor. I’m very happy with the purchase.

Easy setup and installation. My laptop had no problems connecting to and running this second screen. I really enjoy the large screen for reading/writing documents, graphic art work and watching YouTube video. The colors were amazing. Note, I'm not running gaming programs and the sound coming from this screen is too quiet for me - I reverted back to my laptop spearers or used my headphone.

This is for someone who still has a computer running on an old 17" LCD. This will be a massive upgrade for them. I bought everything.. monitor, computer, new desk and chair, speakers, etc.

So far I just hooked everything up to test it out. The monitor looks crisp, clear, and bright. Doesn't appear to have any dead pixels.

I bought it because of the great price.

Got these monitors for work, dropped a considerable sum on a new PC so wanted a decent budget monitor since I needed 3. Many displays give me headaches after a certain period but so far I am having no issue with these.

The colors are very vibrant and bright, refresh rate is decent, overall great appearance and design. I don’t use them to game so can’t speak as to their ability in that, but as a basic monitor, I highly recommend if you’re on a budget. You can tell they are not high end displays but if you don’t need a $500+ monitor with all the specs, this is a great choice.

I will say the speakers are pretty trash, but I use headphones or my PC speakers so doesn’t really bother me.

This is my first gaming and 27" monitor. What a difference between the 24" monitor and this new monitor. My old monitor was not a gaming monitor. The picture on the Sceptre is outstanding. Clear and bright pixels. I am not a heavy gamer but wanted a gamer model for the times I do light gaming. Set up was easy. Plug in the power and HMDI, turn on the power and it is good to go.

I bought this monitor mainly for work, and it's been fantastic so far. Despite not being a gamer, I've been really impressed with the clarity and size of the screen. When we hooked up our Apple TV 4K to it, the picture quality blew us away—it's actually sharper than our much bigger LG 4K TV! The built-in speakers aren't that great for TV shows, but we just use a Bluetooth speaker instead.

Overall, I'm super happy with this monitor. It's a great deal for the quality and size, perfect for both work and casual entertainment. Highly recommend it!

My husband ordered this for a larger screen for his laptop. He uses it to pull up land maps all the time and this has a clear and crisp picture which makes it easier to see landlines. Something I like about it is that it has a small footprint on the counter that he keeps his computer on so it takes up minimal counter space.

For $100+ you get a good looking 1080 p monitor with a fairly high refresh rate and other perks, like AMD free sync. There is some setup required such as going into displays setup in windows to select 100 hz refresh rate and turning on far and adaptive sync in your gpu software, but nothing you won’t have trouble with if you’ve played games on pc. People worried about dpi on 27 inch monitor with 1080p, don’t. Images are clear and crisp and hard as I try, I don’t see individual pixels in Word or Emails. I’ve noticed some impressive performance improvements using free sync /fsr with my mini pc with a mobile 780M IGPU. I also really like the monitor menu joystick selector and 2 HDMI and 1 DSP port so I can easily connect and switch between work laptop and personal PC. Speakers are serviceable and in stereo, but tinny. My mini Bluetooth speaker sounds better. Have not tried pass through audio out - may try a mini sound-bar down the road.
