Great budget monitor - great for rejuvenating an old PC
I recently resurrected an 11 year old Lenovo desktop PC. While it's old and originally came with Windows 7, with an upgrade to Windows 10 and the replacement of the boot drive with an SSD, it really runs fast for it's age. So, I treated it to a new monitor, and I chose this one. The price was under $100 and I didn't expect much, but was surprised how good it looks externally, and how good the picture looks. The audio is pretty weak, but good enough to hear windows sounds and listen to YouTube videos. It's pretty bad on music. However, I use a small Oontz Angle speaker wired to the audio output of this Sceptre and it's acceptable listening even with music. Acceptable, but not great. Having the HDMI bring the audio to the monitor makes the wiring of the Oontz neat. So, if you're looking for a good quality budget monitor, I recommend this one.

Good all round monitor
So, I've bought a grand total of 3 of these, two of the curved variations and two of the updated models, it is safe to say I have been happy with them. They are great for everyday web browsing, word processing etc. As far as gaming goes, I don't play a lot of games that require a super high refresh rate like COD or any first person games, more sim games, so they fit the bill well. The only issue I've had is with the newer model it says it is 100 Hz but I haven't been able to get it to that level, 65 at best.

Can't beat the price / performance of a Sceptre
I'll just start by saying, I have a lot of customers so I buy a lot of Sceptre monitors. Why? Because they generally have better port (connection) options than the competition for the price point and the picture is sharp and consistent. Could not speak to them as a high-end gaming monitor and in fact would probably look elsewhere, but for desktop / office / general gaming use they are hard to beat. They have 100mm VESA capability for easily mounting a mini PC or wall mount and I prefer that the connections are vertical, not horizontal so the cables drape down, not out. Highly recommend.
