Terrific for the price point
I purchased 2 other monitors that were more expensive than this one. Neither of those monitors worked with my laptop for various reasons. This one plugged in and I have no issues. It looks great and does what I need it to do.
I only have 2 dislikes and they are NOT deal breakers. The screen is TOO bright and it is not adjustable. If I turn down the brightness, it turns down the brightness on my laptop. The cords that came with it are too short. If you purchase this device, you will squeak by with the length of the HDMI cable but the power cord is not long enough to reach an outlet that is on a wall near the floor where most outlets are.
Second monitor for work
I got this for my work laptop to have a second monitor when I am working in the office. I attached it to my laptop and now I have three monitors at home. The screen looks great and the sound from it has taken over from my laptop speakers. The sound quality is better than my laptop. Love the stand. For the price I will get another one when this one does go out.
Small, lightweight and effective
This display turned out to be exactly the same size as my laptop and the same resolution, which doubled the screen area I could use. works well off of USB for power and a mini HDMI cable for signal (it is also said to work off of a single USB C cable but I did not test that. While powering a second display will clearly reduce your battery life, the increase is convenience more than makes up for it! I say it is well worth the price I paid!
